Become a Referee

To become a referee with the FDBA you must be 14 years of age - however there is no age limit and we are always keen to hear from adults that may be interested in getting involved.

There are 2-4 Beginners schools held each year, depending on needs of the association and the number of applications recieved. These take about 2-4 weeks to complete, and then you are put on court until you attain competency. After this you will then be rostered on to referee games.

The FDBA is always accepting applications for referees, so if you have a passion for the sport and would like to earn some extra money, why not try it and see if you like it?
